Dr. Delaney has training in as well as extensive experience performing advanced arthroscopic surgical techniques including Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) repair, meniscus transplant, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and cartilage replacement procedures. He serves as team physician and orthopedic consultant to several area high school, semi pro and club sports teams.
Dr. Delaney is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and a fellow of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has maintained an active Orthopedic practice since 1993 and he brings considerable expertise and experience to the medical legal community. With 13 years of litigation experience.
Dr. Delaney has testified in court on behalf of both plaintiff and defendant as an expert witness dozens of times. He lectures regularly on medical topics at the Santa Clara University School of Law and is both a Qualified Medical Examiner (QME) as well as an Independent Medical Examiner (IME).
He has extensive experience in Worker's Compensation medicine and has rendered opinions on a wide variety of topics including orthopedic causation, apportionment, reasonableness of care, standard of care issues as well as future care and impairment issues. He presently accepts patients for orthopedic injury treatment as well as evaluation for medical legal issue.
